Lucia Pika, creative color designer of Chanel, developing the Christmas collection, took as a basis golden shade of lion’s mane. Lion is one of the symbols of Chanel House and either is embodiment of power and strength. It is not for no reason: “Woman, who uses this collection is not hiding from anyone. She enjoys being watched” – it is the way Lucia describes the portrait of the one, for whom she created new make-up range. The strength in Chanel interpretation is in cleverness to wear bright shades, not to be afraid to combine gold, platinum and other metals, underlay eyes with coal-black, and lips with classic and very glamorous red.
